"THERE ARE NO CROWN AND NAILS WITHOUT THE GOSPEL"
THE GOSPEL IS THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST
The Gospel means Good News. The Good News is an introduction to my/our savior Jesus Christ! (God's son). The best news ever from the onset is that God loved the world (people) so much that He gave His only begotten son that whoever BELIEVES in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).
The word of God states if we declare with our mouth, Jesus Christ is Lord and BELIEVE in your heart that God raised Him from the dead one will be saved. For it is with your heart that one BELIEVES and is justified, and it is with one's mouth that you profess one's faith, and one will be saved. (Romans 10:9-10).
The Good news is an invitation by God to receive Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior. By faith when you receive him as your Lord instead of eternal death in hell you will receive eternal life.
The Significance of Crown and Nails:
THE CROWN
The purpose of the thorn of crowns was to bring physical pain and emotional humiliation to Jesus's crucifixion. It was a Roman custom to place the name of the condemned person and their crime on a plaque. This plaque was meant to serve as a mockery, indicating here is “Jesus Christ the King of the Jews (John 19:19.)' It was meant as a mockery, but one day, the entire universe will bow to Jesus Christ as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Revelation 19:16).
THE NAILS
The nails held Jesus Christ to the cross, of course we really know that the love He had for the world and His obedience to His Father held Him (John 10:18). The nails were seven to nine inches long, with square-like heads they were like spikes made from iron. They were driven into Jesus's hand and feet by Roman soldiers. This brutal and barbaric execution style was reserved for the lowest criminals. Jesus willingly sacrificed himself on the cross and endured as the ultimate act of love for humanity, taking on the sins of the world in order to save the world and offer salvation for all who BELIEVE in Him.
